The MDP reiterates its call for international involvement in investigations

The Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP) has expressed concern about the continued lack of clarity on the part of the newly created National Commission of Inquiry (CNI) and the regime of President Waheed and reiterated its demand that formal international experts to intervene in the investigation in this regard and on the events that took place on 7 and 8 February.
The MDP said that because the investigation is impartial and independent to be implemented or at least partially carried out by international experts. Legal experts, constitutional, doctors, investigators and human rights experts.
