Waheed says the BBC that if he has not taken part in the coup is not required to resign
The President Mohamed Waheed Hassan told the BBC that it will not necessarily resign even though the National Commission of Inquiry (CNI) whereabouts of the evidence of a coup. "If the Commission discovers that I had a role in the coup, then surely I would give the resignation," he said.
